JUAN DIEGO GARCÍA MONTÚFAR

​Juan Diego is a member of the Mergers and Acquisitions team. His practice focuses on purchase and sale transactions of domestic and foreign companies, as well as advising clients in any issue regarding private law, real estate, contractual law and corporate affairs.

He is a Bachelor of Law from Universidad de Lima. Likewise, he studied subjects from both bachelor’s and master’s program at Università Bocconi (Milan, Italy).

In the academic field, he acted as an adjunct professor in the following courses: Private Law II – Legal Entities, Private Law III – Legal Act, Private Law VII – Contractual Law and Private Law IX – Typical Contracts at Universidad de Lima. Further, he was an adjunct professor at the Universidad Científica del Sur for the course of Mining and Energy Law.

Juan Diego is a member of ADV Editores (ADVOCATUS), association composed by students of the Universidad de Lima’s Law School, which produces legal events and publications. In 2018-I he was appointed Director of Public Relations of ADVOCATUS.

In addition, he is a co-founder and member of the Legal Team at Baika, a social enterprise whose objective stands in the donation of bicycles to various children in Peru. These bicycles will help the children arrive to their schools earlier, with an efficient transportation.

He is fluent in Spanish and English.
