Yuvys is an Associate in our Restructuring and Insolvency and Antitrust practices. Her work focuses on advising clients on insolvency and restructuring matters under the General Insolvency System Law, before the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and Protection of Intellectual Property (INDECOPI), with particular emphasis on the filing and conduct of insolvency proceedings, creditors’ meetings, and the collection and recovery of credits. She also has solid experience advising corporate clients in administrative proceedings related to antitrust, merger control, unfair competition, trademarks, bureaucratic barriers control and consumer protection.
Yuvys holds an LL.B. from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP), where she graduated in the top ten percent of her class.
During law school, she was a member of the Academic Research Committee of IUS ET VERITAS Civil Association, where she currently serves as an Extraordinary Associate. In 2024, she was awarded the DARI Scholarship and completed an exchange program at the University of Essex (United Kingdom), focusing on Corporate and Competition Law. She was also a recipient of PUCP’s Excellence Scholarship, which enabled her to pursue specialized studies in Artificial Intelligence and Law at the University of Cambridge (United Kingdom).
She carried out her pre-professional practices in the Restructuring and Insolvency and Competition/Antitrust practices at Rebaza, Alcázar & De Las Casas.
Spanish is her native language, and she is fluent in English.
