Experience
- Advised on the corporate and regulatory management of companies in the financial sector, including entities supervised by the Superintendencia del Mercado de Valores (SMV), in connection with the organization and execution of board meetings, shareholders’ meetings and other corporate acts.
- Advised on the implementation and update of corporate powers of attorney frameworks for financial sector entities, considering the operational, corporate governance and regulatory requirements applicable to each of them.
- Involved in the strategy and execution of corporate reorganizations, as part of corporate structure optimization processes.
- Advised on due diligence processes, focused on the review of corporate structures, corporate documentation and regulatory compliance, including matters related to internal and external audits of financial sector companies.
- Advised on the negotiation and review of contracts with automotive sector manufacturers.
- Advised on regulatory matters and coordinated with regulatory authorities and governmental entities.
- Involved in the execution and follow-up of regulatory inspections carried out by supervisory authorities over financial sector entities.
Eva is an associate in the Financings practice. Her practice focuses on advising companies in the financial sector and capital markets, including entities supervised by the Superintendencia del Mercado de Valores (SMV), particularly on matters related to regulatory compliance, corporate governance, corporate structures and financing transactions, including structures used in investment and financing vehicles in the capital markets.
She has experience advising on the corporate organization and operation of entities supervised by the SMV, including the implementation of corporate governance structures and the preparation and execution of board and shareholders’ meetings, taking into account applicable regulatory requirements as well as guidelines related to risk management, compliance and audit. She has also been involved in due diligence processes and the structuring of corporate reorganizations, within the context of optimization processes involving structures used in investment and financing transactions. In addition, she has experience advising on regulatory supervision processes, inspections and internal and external audits.
Prior to joining the Firm, Eva worked in the corporate area of Credicorp Capital, where she was involved in advising on the corporate and regulatory management of several group companies, including entities supervised by the SMV) gaining experience in the regulatory framework applicable to financial system and capital markets participants, as well as in corporate structures used for investment and financing activities.
Eva has been sub-director of the Editorial Committee and Editor of Asociación Civil Corpus Iuris, which edits and publishes the legal magazine CORPUS IURIS.
