CAMILA HERNÁNDEZ

Camila is a Senior Associate of the Firm and a member of the Financial Regulation, Insurance, Fintech and Data Privacy practices.

She advises financial institutions, insurance companies and fintech/insurtech stakeholders on complex regulatory and supervisory matters, including licensing processes, prudential and corporate governance requirements, and the structuring of innovative financial and insurance products. She is regularly entrusted with leading regulatory workstreams in licensing and supervisory processes before the Peruvian financial authorities.

Her practice also encompasses the design and implementation of AML and data protection compliance frameworks for regulated and non-regulated entities. Camila regularly assists local and international financial groups and business conglomerates in navigating the Peruvian regulatory landscape, conducting regulatory feasibility assessments and adapting global compliance structures to local requirements. She has been actively involved in the development and consolidation of the Firm’s Insurance and Fintech regulatory practice.

Camila graduated from Universidad de Lima with a specialization in Corporate Law (2021).

She is fluent in Spanish and English.
