Fátima Linares is a member of the Firm’s Real Estate Practice Group.
She has experience in Municipal Law, Registry Law, and Patrimonial Civil Law. Her practice focuses on the drafting of real estate contracts, obtaining municipal authorizations, analyzing the legal status of rural and urban properties, as well as identifying contingencies in real estate transactions. She also has experience providing advisory services in municipal and registry matters. Additionally, Fátima advises on municipal administrative sanctioning proceedings.
Fátima holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, graduating with the distinction of Magna Cum Laude. She also holds a Second Specialization in Registry Law from the same university.
During her university years, she ranked within the top fifth of her graduating class. She was a member of the civil association IUS ET VERITAS, where she is currently an extraordinary member. She was also the founder and director of the Human Rights Team of the Faculty of Law of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. In addition, she served as a teaching assistant for the course Property Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and at the University of the Pacific, taught by Dr. Francisco Avendaño. Subsequently, as an attorney, Fátima served as an adjunct instructor for the course “Legal Clinic on Housing and Sustainable Real Estate Development” at the Faculty of Law of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru.
Prior to joining the Firm, Fátima completed her pre-professional internships in the Real Estate Practice Group of Jorge Avendaño Abogados, where she also worked as a legal assistant.
