  • Representation of a prominent food exporting company in an international arbitration administered by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), brought against an international company engaged in the cultivation, production, and export of food products, in a dispute concerning damages arising from a share purchase agreement.
  • Representation of international companies in the hydrocarbons sector against a Peruvian government agency responsible for overseeing the national hydrocarbons market, in a dispute related to a license agreement for the exploitation of an oil block located in the Peruvian jungle, in an international arbitration administered by the ICC.
  • Representation of a dairy-producing company in an international arbitration administered by the ICC against a company specialized in the construction of irrigation canals, in a dispute concerning defects and delays in the construction of an irrigation system for a project located in northern Peru.
  • Representation of a Peruvian food exporting company in an international arbitration conducted in English and administered by the Waren-Verein der Hamburger Börse e.V. (Federal German Association of Wholesale and Foreign Trade in Long-Life Food Products), against a German importing company and holder of various food brands.
  • Representation of a private equity firm and a multinational telecommunications infrastructure company in a domestic arbitration administered by the Lima Chamber of Commerce (CCL), against their Peruvian subsidiaries and legal representatives, in a dispute involving the exercise of political rights at the board of directors and claims related to a call for funds.
  • Representation of a Peruvian financial foundation in a domestic arbitration administered by the CCL, in a dispute concerning obligations arising from a trust agreement entered into by private entities and State agencies.
  • Representation of an international company engaged in the transmission, commercialization, and distribution of sports broadcasting rights, in a domestic arbitration administered by the CCL, against a Peruvian company, in a dispute concerning the enforcement of contractual provisions.
  • Representation of a company dedicated to software testing in a domestic arbitration administered by the CCL, initiated against a Peruvian consultancy for breach of contractual provisions giving rise to liability.
  • Representation of a real estate development company in an out-of-court settlement derived from a domestic arbitration administered by the CCL, against a company that manufactures explosives and provides services to construction and mining companies.
  • Representation of a shopping center management company in a domestic arbitration administered by the CCL, initiated against a leading Latin American retail group, in a dispute concerning the breach of a usufruct agreement.
  • Representation of a shopping center management company in four (4) domestic arbitrations administered by the CCL, against a leading Latin American retail group, in disputes related to the enforcement of commercial agreements.
  • Representation of a company engaged in energy generation, transmission, and supply, and its parent company, in corporate, contractual, and indemnity-related disputes against a natural gas transportation company, arising from an energy sector arbitration administered by the CCL, currently pending before civil courts.
  • Representation of a Brazilian company engaged in the distribution and transportation of commodities, in settlements, out-of-court conciliations, and judicial proceedings before civil courts in Lima and other provinces, in disputes related to unpaid invoices for merchandise deliveries and the enforcement of negotiable instruments.
  • Representation of a multinational electrification technology company in four (4) award enforcement proceedings, stemming from four (4) domestic arbitrations administered by the CCL, against electric distributors in disputes concerning the return of performance bonds under contracts for substations and electrical transformers.
  • Representation of a multinational electrification technology company in three (3) annulment proceedings, stemming from three (3) domestic arbitrations administered by the CCL, against electric distributors in disputes concerning the return of performance bonds under contracts for substations and electrical transformers.

Oscar is a member of the Litigation and Arbitration practice areas at the Firm.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Universidad del Pacífico, where he was included on the Dean’s List with Excellence Distinctions in Legal Research (2023) and Legal Argumentation (2023 and 2024).

His practice focuses on advising and representing companies in national and international arbitrations related to the commercial, energy, construction, hydrocarbons, mining, and corporate sectors. He also has experience handling civil, commercial, and administrative litigation before the Peruvian Judiciary.

During his time at university, he was a founding member of Universidad del Pacífico’s Law School team that participated for the first time in international Moot Courts on Sports Arbitration, simulating hearings in English before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). As a participant, he received several awards, including Best Appellant, Best Respondent, and Best Legal Research in interuniversity competitions held in Madrid and Barcelona.

He has served as Editor-in-Chief and Vice President of FORSETI – Law Journal, an academic publication run by students of Universidad del Pacífico’s Law School. He also completed undergraduate studies at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) as a scholarship recipient from the Ibero-American Association of Law Schools (Red Sui Iuris).

Before joining the Firm, Oscar completed legal internships in the Dispute Resolution area at Bullard, Falla & Ezcurra and in the Regulatory area at Miranda & Amado.

He is fluent in Spanish and English.
