Daniela Urquiza serves as Counsel in the tax and Private Clients department. She is a law graduate of the University of Lima, honoured Summa Cum Laude, and holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Chicago. Daniela has extensive experience in tax law, tax planning, and family planning. She has completed postgraduate studies in sustainable finance at The Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) and holds a specialization certificate in Global Energy and Climate Policy from the University of London. Daniela has a proven track record advising clients on tax structures for mergers, acquisitions and financial transactions, identifying potential contingencies and critical tax components. She also advises on all tax aspects of investment matters. In addition to her professional experience at our firm, Daniela was an international associate at the New York office of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in 2018 and 2019. She has further international experience as a Senior Consultant in Strategy, Transactions and Sustainability (Deloitte Belgium) and as Senior Manager in Sustainability and Enterprise Risk Management (UCB Belgium).
