Pamela is a partner in the Corporate Reorganization and Insolvency practice. Her work focuses on advising companies and creditors in insolvency proceedings, corporate restructurings, and liquidation processes, both privately and before the Commission for Insolvency Proceedings at INDECOPI. She has over 20 years of experience in insolvency law and has participated in significant refinancing processes, distressed asset acquisitions, and the design of restructuring plans.

She advises clients across a wide range of industries in preventing insolvency situations and throughout all stages of formal insolvency proceedings. Her experience also includes the structuring of private refinancing agreements, challenges to creditors’ meeting resolutions, and company liquidations in accordance with the General Corporations Law.

Prior to joining the Firm, Pamela was a partner in the Restructuring and Insolvency practice at Hernández & Cía (June 2024 – May 2025), counsel at De Bracamonte, Haaker & Castellares, Legal and Corporate Affairs Manager at Sky Airline Peru, and senior associate at Rebaza, Alcázar & De las Casas for over eleven years. She also worked as an international associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in New York.

Pamela teaches Insolvency Law at the University of Piura and is a member of the Peruvian Chapter of the Ibero-American Institute of Insolvency Law, as well as the Lima Bar Association. She is also co-author of the article “You Have Options: The Use of Alternative Dispute Resolution in Insolvency Proceedings,” alongside Adam Brenneman, David Schwartz, and Pablo Mori, published in Pratt’s Journal of Bankruptcy Law in October 2017.

She holds an LL.M. from the University of California, Berkeley, where she also obtained a Certificate of Specialization in Business Law. Pamela earned her law degree from the University of Lima, graduating magna cum laude.

She has been recognized by publications such as Chambers and Partners and was nominated as “Latin America Restructuring & Insolvency Lawyer of the Year” by the Women in Business Law Americas Awards 2025.
