REPRESENTATIVE OFFICES

SANTIAGO, CHILE

Our representative office in Santiago reflects the Firm’s early commitment to maintaining a close and strategic regional presence. From Chile, we support our clients in transactions and investments with an impact in Peru and across the region, strengthening our ability to advise on complex and cross‑border matters.

This presence allows the Firm to maintain an ongoing relationship with the Chilean market and to develop a deeper understanding of the regional context, while always providing legal advice exclusively under Peruvian law, supported by a team with solid international experience.

MADRID

Our representative office in Madrid reinforces the Firm’s international reach and its longstanding connection with Europe, a key market for investments, wealth planning and transactions with an impact in Peru.

From Madrid, the Firm advises Peruvian, European and international clients on complex cross‑border matters, providing legal services exclusively under Peruvian law, with a close understanding of the European environment and the needs of clients with interests in the region.

MEXICO CITY

Our representative office in Mexico City responds to Mexico’s growing relevance as a regional hub for investments and transactions in Latin America.

Our presence in Mexico enables the Firm to more closely support Mexican and international clients structuring transactions from this market with an impact in Peru and the region, while maintaining a strategic and regional perspective and continuing to provide legal advice exclusively under Peruvian law.

INTERNATIONAL DESKS

EUROPEAN DESK

From our Madrid office, we support our clients in the development of their activities in Europe, advising both companies and private clients.

We advise our clients on cross‑border transactions and international litigation, working alongside specialized European firms, as well as assisting individuals on matters related to international taxation, immigration visas and tax residency.

Our objective is also to act as a bridge to leading European advisors as required, including local law firms, investment banks, family offices, private banking institutions, accountants and real estate agents, among others.

Héctor Gadea, partner in charge of our Madrid office, leads the Firm’s European Desk.

CHILEAN DESK

Since our incorporation in 2004, we have had the privilege of interacting with a significant number of Chilean clients operating in Peru, and Peruvian clients operating in Chile. In 2013, we were part of the largest investment made by a Peruvian company in Chile: the purchase of the Lafarge cement company.

The closing of this transaction marked a milestone that prompted us to establish an office in Santiago, Chile with the aim of improving our services for our Peruvian and Chilean clients, thus, becoming the first and only Peruvian Firm with a physical presence in said country.

As part of our team, and leading the Santiago representative office, our legal advisor Maria Isabel Pastor, is qualified to practice law in both countries, Peru and Chile, and has been living in said country since 1996.

Our office in Chile serves as a facilitator for our Peruvian clients facing complex matters in Chile, working together with the best and most recognized law firms with whom we have extensive experience and excellent relationships.

Similarly, we accompany our Chilean clients from the very beginning and throughout the most complex situations that may arise in the future development of their businesses in Peru.

Among our most representative clients are Latam Airlines, Grupo Gildemeister, Grupo Cummins, Grupo Inmobiliario Altas Cumbres, Banco BCI, Grupo Patio, Grupo Penta, Familia chilena del Río, Rigel Seguros, Administradora de Fondos Larraín Vial and Grupo VPC (Polar Fruit).

ASIAN DESK

In light of the increasing investment from Asian markets in Latin America, particularly in Peru, Rebaza, Alcázar & De Las Casas has established an Asian Desk to provide tailored investment strategies, strategic advice on key aspects of investing in Peru, and specialized legal services.

Our Asian Desk has a multidisciplinary team of lawyers who have traveled the Asian continent in order to understand the particularities of their businesses with a deep respect for their culture and values.

In this sense, we have relevant experience, mainly in M&A operations, joint ventures, incorporation of companies, financings in capital markets, banking regulatory advice and investments in public infrastructures.

Our relationships with Asian companies span from prominent financial institutions—including ICBC (Industrial and Commercial Bank of China), Bank of China (BOC), Fosun International Limited, Silk Road Fund and CLAI Fund—to leading multinational infrastructure and mining companies, such as China Southern Power Grid, China Railway Tunnel Group, and Chinalco Mining Corporation.
