Roberto is partner in the Tax Area. His practice focuses on tax advice on financing operations with local and foreign banks, and through the stock exchange. He provides advice to banks and insurance companies, private pension funds administrators and investment vehicles such as mutual funds, investment funds and banking and securitization trusts. He has been member of several multidisciplinary teams that advised bidders on investment projects in public infrastructure and public services, and to concessionaires of the same type of projects.

He has provided advice on business reorganizations and transfer of Peruvian companies. Likewise, he has advised on the property and tax organization of high-net-worth individuals, including the application of CFC Rules and the amnesty regime.

 He has extensive experience defending clients against tax audits and litigating before the Tax Administration.

 Roberto is a lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru and MBA from the Universidad del Pacifico and ESADE. Specialized in International Taxation by IBFD (Netherlands) and IE Law (Spain). He has accounting studies in ESAN.

 He is an active member of IPDT and IFA Peruvian Branch. Likewise, he has been part of the tax committee of PROCAPITALES and has chaired the tax committee of AFIN.

In addition to his professional experience at the Firm, Roberto was partner in the Tax & Legal area of PwC.

He is a renowned professor of Tax Law at the Universidad del Pacifico and a frequent speaker at specialized forums on the subject.
