Romina Buso is a lawyer graduate by Universidad de Lima. With 10 years of experience as a lawyer, she has been occupying the position of Business Development Manager for the Firm for the last 2 years.

Thanks to her knowledge on the legal industry and to her skills in communicating and relating with her peers, Romina occupies a key position to accompany the Firm’s practice areas in identifying business opportunities, defining positioning strategies before stakeholders and desirable clients, creating new practices and making internal awareness of our culture, as well as supervising a coherence to that in our external communication.

Romina Buso es abogada egresada de la Universidad de Lima. Cuenta con diez años de experiencia en el ejercicio de su profesión, y desde hace dos años, se desempeña como nuestra jefa en el área de desarrollo de negocios.

Gracias a su conocimiento en la industria legal y a sus habilidades para comunicar y relacionarse con sus pares, Romina ocupa un puesto clave en el acompañamiento a las áreas de práctica de la firma, en la identificación de oportunidades de negocio, definición de estrategia para posicionamiento frente a stakeholders y posibles clientes, creación de nuevas áreas de práctica, y en la concientización interna, y coherencia en la comunicación externa, de nuestra cultura organizacional.

KETTY CANAVAL

Billing and Controller

Ketty Canaval is Head of Billing and Administrative Controller of the Firm. She has management studies and her experience of more than 30 years within the banking sector and the administration of legal firms, makes her a key person in our firm.

Since the incorporation of the Firm in 2004, Ketty has been part of the growth and development of the various administrative areas that are under her supervision. Recently her peers selected her as the employee most representing the Integrity value, which is promoted by the Firm, applying this value to the staff.

CAROLINA HANSPACH

Marketing & Communications

Carolina Hanspach is a gratuated Communicator from Universidad de Lima. She has more tan 10 years of experience in Marketing and Corporate Communication, and for 5 years she has been working as head of our Marketing and Communications area.

Her previous experience in several sectors, adds value to our firm in her active participation in the definition, design and implementation of both external and internal marketing and communication strategies, as well as media plans, digital marketing and positioning of the firm.

RODOLFO PEÑAFLOR

Pricing & Project Management

Rodolfo Peñaflor is an economist graduated from Universidad Agraria. He has specialized studies in corporate finance at University del Pacifico and Behavioral Economics at the University of Chicago. He has more than 7 years of experience in different areas and for the past 2 years, he has been in charge of Pricing and Project Management at the Firm.

His knowledge of the financial and project management sector allows him to add value through the development and implementation of new pricing strategies, aimed at optimizing resources and profitability in the different areas of the Firm.

Rodolfo Peñaflor es economista egresado de la Universidad Agraria. Cuenta con estudios de especialización en finanzas corporativas en la Universidad del Pacífico y Behavioral Economics en la Universidad de Chicago. Cuenta con más de 7 años de experiencia en distintas áreas y desde hace 2 años, se desempeña como encargado de Pricing y Project Management.

Su conocimiento del sector financiero y de gestión de proyectos, le permite aportar valor mediante el desarrollo e implementación de nuevas estrategias de Pricing, orientadas a la optimización de recursos y rentabilidad de las distintas áreas del estudio.

JOSÉ PLACENCIA

Jose Placencia is a Cibertec graduate, with specialization courses in Network Administration – UNI, Network Security Administrator – Cibertec and other related courses. He has more than 19 years of experience in user support and server administration in virtualized environments, as well as backup computer systems, document managers and management of Windows and Windows server operating systems, and for 6 years, he has worked as head of the Systems Area of our Firm.

His experience obtained in previous employments, related to the legal sector, makes his contribution in the management of infrastructure in terms of hardware, software, document management and information security in the Systems Area, is in accordance with the new trends in the technology market providing users and clients with the security of their information in our Data Center.

JUDITH REYES

Information Center

Judith Reyes is a librarian from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. She has more than 20 years of experience working in law firms. She has specialization studies in subjects such as “Technological Surveillance and Competitive Intelligence” at Centro de Informacion y Gestion Tecnologica (Cuba); Information and Knowledge Management, at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Colombia), as well as other courses and workshops related to information management for the provision of legal services, and has recently completed the “Legaltech. The lawyer of the Future”, course at Austral University (Argentina).

She is head of the Firm’s Information Center and analyst specializing in the management of legal information at the corporate level, which is very important for the business line.

CLAUDIA RUIZ

Administration & Finance

Claudia Ruiz is a graduate ESAN business administrator. She has several specialization studies in financial matters at ESAN and other educational institutions, as well as Direction and Management studies at UPC. She has been the Firm’s Administration and Finance Manager for 9 years, leading the Management and Support areas.

She has more than 20 years of experience managing law firms, adding value to the corporate development process and strategic plan. Additionally, she is a member of the Management Committee of the firm.

ROXANA SIN

Collections

Roxana Sin has administrative studies and more than 25 years of experience in the export sector and in legal firms. She currently is the Firm’s Head of Collections area.

Roxana has been part of the Firm for 7 years and has managed to strengthen a Client-Firm bond, consolidating the fulfillment of the functions under her charge, applying strategies focused on the goals of the organization, supervising and controlling the procedures of her area.

SHEILA VARGAS

Compliance

Sheila Vargas is a business administrator graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru, with a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Specialization in Implementation and Auditing of Integrated Systems of Quality, Environment, Safety and Occupational Health from Instituto para la Calidad, and specialization studies in the Compliance Program of Universidad del Pacifico. She has more than 10 years of professional experience and for the last 3 years, she has served as our chief compliance officer.

Her varied experience and knowledge of regulatory compliance adds value to the Frim. Sheila actively participates in the development of the Compliance area, development and implementation of policies for the Firm on risk issues, conflicts of interest, client and services due diligence, as well as applicable internal and external regulatory compliance.

Sheila Vargas es administradora egresada de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, con Postgrado en Especialización Avanzada en Implementación y Auditoría de Sistemas Integrados de Calidad, Medio Ambiente, Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional del Instituto para la Calidad, y especialización en Programa de Compliance de la Universidad del Pacifico. Cuenta con más de diez años de experiencia en el ejercicio de su profesión y desde hace tres años, se desempeña como nuestra jefa de cumplimiento.

Su variada experiencia y su conocimiento sobre cumplimiento normativo aporta valor al estudio en su participación activa en el desarrollo del área de Compliance, desarrollo e implementación de políticas para el Estudio en temas de riesgos, conflictos de interés, due diligence del cliente y servicios y cumplimiento normativo interno y externo aplicable.

Judith Reyes es bibliotecóloga por la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. Cuenta con más de 20 años de experiencia en estudios de abogados. Ha cursado estudios de especialización en materias como “Vigilancia Tecnológica e Inteligencia Competitiva” en el Centro de Información y Gestión Tecnológica (Cuba); Gestión de la Información y el Conocimiento, en la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Colombia), así como otros cursos y talleres relacionados con gestión de la información para la prestación de servicios legales, y ha culminado recientemente el curso de “Legaltech. El abogado del Futuro”, dictado por la Universidad Austral (Argentina).

Se desempeña como Jefa del Centro de Información del Estudio, y es analista de información especializada en gestión de la información legal a nivel corporativo, lo cual es muy importante para el giro del negocio.
